About the Role:
Join The Muse Academy as our Lead Infant Teacher, where you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth and development of our youngest learners. We are seeking a passionate educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere for infants.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities for infants.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment that promotes emotional and social development.
- Conduct regular assessments to track and support each child's growth and milestones.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning experience across age groups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Stay current with early childhood education best practices and trends.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Background check clearance and required state licensing.

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

We are a play-based preschool based in Long Beach. We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old, and provide a range of age appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join Preschool.
